·   Served as an independent contractor on an emergency CAT Crew

·   Provided estimates and successfully closed over 200 insurance claims for 8 different insurance companies.

Responsibilities included

·   Meritoriously promoted out of basic training.

·   Ranked in the top 3% of my graduating class out of basic training.  This was based on academic, physical fitness, and rifle range achievements.

·   Served as 4^th squad leader throughout basic training and led 30+ men.  It was my duty to teach and motivate the young men that were falling behind during marine recruit training and I was judged solely on my ability to adapt and lead my squad.

·   Graduated school of infantry once again as 4^th squad leader and was meritoriously promoted to LCPL after achieving personal and squad goals at the highest level.

·   Deployed to 3^rd Battalion 1^st Marine Division where I was made squad leader of my 81MM mortar gun crew after 1.5 yrs of service within the battalion.  Led my team in successful insertion and extraction maneuvers and mastered day and night land navigation.

·   Served as a part of the 31^st Marine Expeditionary Unit overseas.  Was stationed in Okinawa Japan for 9 months from which we deployed to sea and patrolled the Asian waters.
